How to replace my old sofa legs?   Remove 1 piece of your worn out sofa legs Check to see that they were attached with hanger bolts. Ensure that there is a groove/boring hole to insert the hanger bolts into the base of the sofa.   Check measurements The dimensions of your hanger bolts should be as close as possible to what we have here. Our hanger bolts for the sofa legs protrude 1 1/2" and have threads that measure 5/16". These hanger bolts, together with the sofa legs can be gently screwed into the base of the sofa by hand.
